Largest Glacial Grooves in the World

When people hear about Sandusky, Ohio, they often think about the speed of roller coasters at Cedar Point. Only 9 miles north at Kelleys Island and just a bit less exhilarating one can find the largest easily accessible glacial grooves in the world. The limestone curves were created over 18,000 years of glacial movement. How about that for speed?! The immense grooves are 400 feet long, 35 feet wide, and up to 10 feet deep. The grooves also contain marine fossils that are approximately 400 million years old. The national landmark can be seen from walkways and bridges around the glacial grooves.
